After 4 years of analysis and research, our objective was clear and the requirements for our project were set.

Our software platform is still developed and updated "in-house" which means that we can customize and fine-tune as quickly as required.
Melthem is built on a solid architecture with on-site (client side) components and off-site (data center) components to ensure a flawless system.

Our storage archive is fully redundant and expandable "on the fly".
We host our equipment only in the best data centers which are compliant with the ISO-standard:
- 2 locations (Brussels and Antwerp) interconnected with "Dark FiBer"
- redundant internet connection in each data center from different providers
- 100Mbit internet connections
- fully automated "disk-to-disk" and tape backup

Melthem is hardware independent and we currently offer the following sensors:

Melthem Care Center operates as your partner in case of emergency / problems.
The Care Center resolves issues, gives you telephone support and logs all requests.
In a nutshell:
1) Pre-installation phase: build an itemlist of devices,applications and connections to integrate
2) Installation phase: together with the customer, a priority and a measurement schedule is linked to every item
3) Test phase: a 2 week period in which every measurement is tested, reviewed and fine-tuned
4) Live phase: activation of the entire system
From now on it is simple:
A problem is detected and the status goes into "warning" or "alert"
The client is notified by email,SMS,fax,phone or other agreed media
The client resolves the problem and the status returns to "normal"
Our service is completely transparent and includes the following extra benefits:
- encryption of traffic between on-site and off-site components
- every measurement is archived for the period defined by the customer
- possibility to store data on the client-side to reduce the costs
- periodic reporting in PDF, CSV or Excel format; the period is again defined by the customer
- possiblity to do bench marking and generate average reports over time for comparison
- archiving of every measurement for legal purposes (downtime, fire etc)
- colaboration between Melthem and several other nominated IT-partners to resolve problems, detected by Melthem on demand of the customer (lack of time, short on resources ...)
